Fatima's Blog

I have had a very large wake up call in the mistake area. I shared my blog on Facebook so that my friends could see it and not have to go searching for it. There were some very personal things in the blog because I had imported a private blog into the blog. The posts were rather old and I never dreamed anyone would go through and read them. I was wrong. My daughter has read everything in my blog and is very upset by it. She misinterpreted many things and thinks that I hate her, which is not true at all. I love her with all my heart and soul., even when I’ve been angry with her.

I said unkind things about her husband whom I do not even know well at all. I am so sorry for all the things that I said and beg her forgiveness. I don’t know if our relationship can ever be repaired. She sees me as making myself to be a martyr. Maybe I did. Maybe I wanted pity when I was upset. That’s no excuse but it may explain what happened. I should have never made public private things that could hurt another person, especially my daughter.

Sabrina, I’m sorry. What I wrote was cruel and written when I was hurt and upset. It doesn’t express my true feelings. Please forgive me. Please help us to heal our relationship. I love you so much. Sabrina, I’m sorry.

I made a huge mistake in publishing my other blog on Facebook. I decided that I needed to change my blog address so that it’s not published on Facebook. I’ve had trouble with people reading my blog on Facebook and then becoming angry or making snide remarks about what I’ve written. I feel I can’t write freely on my other blog. I have to censor myself and that’s not being true to myself.

Another mistake I made was that I also imported some blogs from a private blog that I had elsewhere. I should have deleted some of those blogs before I made such a rash decision. That too has caused a greatly deal of trouble for me.

So that’s why I am moving my blog and starting over, so to speak. With a blog that is not published elsewhere where it is easily seen. (I know, that’s a sentence fragment.) But I feel I have to do this for me. So if you see Fatima’s Blog, that’s me. I am still your blogging friend. I am. True dat.

And I am still subscribed to your blogs so you’ll be hearing from me. Count on it.
