Fatima's Blog

Archive for the ‘About Me’ Category

I am a 61 year young grandmother of twin 15 year old girls. I love to read. I love to do mosaics and dye cloth to make patterns. I make stamps to stamp patterns on cloth, too. I had one daughter (the twins’ mother) and they live close by in San Antonio, TX. I am a convert to Islam which my family does not like much, even though they aren’t religious. I am very involved with the mystical side of religion, with spirituality rather than rote religion. I suffer from depression and anxiety, but see a therapist and am doing well. I love to write and hence the blog.It helps me get my thoughts out. I am another blog but it is seen on Facebook and that has gotten me into trouble with my daughter. So I am creating this blog to write what I don’t necessarily want her to see and make snide remarks about. So that’s me. My old blog is http://mairedubhtx.wordpress.com
